Guidelines
When experiencing The LifeLine Technique® for the first few times, it is highly recommended that you have a session in-person with a Certified LifeLine Technique Practitioner. There are two key reasons for this:
- There are significant healing benefits simply from developing a therapeutic relationship, which is easier to do in person.
- It will help you develop a belief in the efficacy and accuracy of muscle testing.
However, having a session by distance may be the only suitable option due to distance and travel times in Australia, in which case a Skype or video call is recommended. |

Content-free Therapy
One of the benefits and appeal of The LifeLine Technique® is it being content-free. This means that throughout the session, clients will be asked to connect to certain periods in their life, concepts or emotions, and to observe within themselves the associated or triggered thoughts, emotions, beliefs and/or physical sensations that come up for them. If a client has a strong emotional response, the practitioner will hold the space for them to feel their emotions as an important part of the healing process. However, the underlying reasons for the response do not need to be disclosed. Although, practitioners do recognise that a brief disclosure by the client may prove cathartic for them.
Client Record Sheet
Clients will receive a client record sheet, either written or scanned version, so they can reflect on the session and also reflect on their progress over a period of time.
Sometimes clients will experience dramatic changes after only one LifeLine Technique session, and at other times there will be a gradual improvement that becomes more obvious when reviewing earlier sessions. It is an important empowering part of the journey for clients to monitor their progress and take responsibility for the direction of their healing process.
